Waterford Snow

Winter has come to Waterford Maine early this year. Two consecutive storms of 5 inches (12.5 cm) each has covered the ground with snow and ice. Very nice, reunite.... It would be pretty if it hadn't rained at the end of each storm. It's pretty icy underneath. There's another storm due tonite, Thursday into Friday afternoon. Supposed to be snow statewide. Forecast up to 8" (20 cm). Last night was +5 F (-15 C) so it's plenty cold enough for just snow. We'll see. At least just before it snowed I was able to get at least a load of wood into the garage. There's still more to shift. Hopefully we'll have a thaw and enough snow will melt so I can drive out back and hook up the trailer and twitch the rest of the wood into the garage and onto the front porch. Looks like winter is here to stay in Waterford.
